Mamukapa is about the journey.
It's about the exploration that never ends and new places that feel welcoming.
Although not a direct translation from Xhosa. The word Mamukapa indicates Mother City. To which Cape Town is often refered.
Mamukapa pays tribute to Cape Town, a city that is brimming with opportunities to enlighten and inspire.
A city with so much to offer, that we couldn't help but make something to serve as a memory of your travels or a reminder of home.
A message from the founder.
Mamukapa was founded in 2016. The dream began because of my love of maps - particularly those relating to my adventures around the world. Being a born Capetonian and never having lived anywhere else in the world, I am passionate about creating memories for visitors of our magnificent Cape Peninsula and surrounds. Cape Town is a special place, it showcases stunning art and beautiful landscapes filled with many signature animals. I have tried to depict as many of the key elements to Cape Town on our Cape Peninsula travel map collection. I hope you or whoever receives our product will forever cherish the beauty of Cape Town.
